“ The Valley Bar is a large cosy multi-room local pub. There is a wide selection of draught beers, including five hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition on our visit. There is a nice separate room with a pool table. The pub has a really nice garden at the front. ”

I've only seen this during a weekday afternoon, it was quiet and friendly. So, I can't review the night life The main bar has moved upstairs 8 years ago so there is limited wheelchair access (At least 3 steps to climb). Slightly off the beaten track for Scarborough centre but worth a visit. ”

“ Great little pub around 10 minutes walk from Scarboroughs football ground. As away fans aren't allowed to drink at the ground this is the nearest pub and it's a good 'un. Don't be put off by the walk, it's not long at all. Surprisingly solid bunch of drinks available on draught, as well as a really quaint humble and well kept beer garden. Interior is basic but also wonderful, can imagine it being quite cosy in winter. What's more it was clean and bar staff were all welcoming (should be a given but not always the case elsewhere). ”
